Death of Mr. R. L McLiesh

Mr. Roy Lamont McLiesh, of Rutland Street, Allawah, collapsed and died suddenly in Hurstville on March 19. With his wife Mr. McLiesh was looking in the windows of Messrs. Alien Bros. Mercers, Hurstville, on the afternoon of March 19, when he suddenly collapsed. He was conveyed by ambulance to St. George District Hospital where life was pronounced extinct.

The deceased, who had resided in Hurst/vine for many years, was well known and respected throughout the district. For a long period he was the State Returning Officer for Hurstville and was a. capable and efficient officer. He is survived by his wife 'and two daughters, Gwen (Mrs. Croft) and Ida. The remains of deceased were privately cremated at Woronora on March 20.
